Abstract:
The invention provides a method for preparing meropenem. The method comprises the following steps that: 1) a compound of formula (IV) reacts with a compound of formula (XIV) to produce a compound of formula (VI); 2) the compound of formula (VI) reacts with a compound of formula (XV) to produce a compound of formula (XVI); 3) the compound of formula (XVI) reacts with a compound of formula (XVII) to produce a compound of formula (XVIII); 4) the compound of formula (XVIII) is used to prepare a compound of formula (XIX); 5) the compound of formula (XIX) is hydrolyzed to obtain a compound of formula (XX); 6) the compound of formula (XX) is reduced under the action of catalysts and hydrogen to produce meropenem of formula (I). The method adopted by the invention has short synthesis route, simple operation, easily obtained raw material, and no requirement on the catalyst of precious metal of rhodium.
