Abstract:
Disclosed in the present invention is a method for preparing a 2,5-furandicarboxylic acid (FDCA) compound. The method comprises: providing a hexose diacid compound, an acid catalyst, and an ionic liquid; and dehydrating the hexose diacid compound in the ionic liquid under the catalysis of the acid catalyst to form the 2,5-furandicarboxylic acid compound, wherein the ionic liquid comprises a cation moiety selected from pyridinium, pyridazinium, pyrimidinium, pyrazinium, oxazonium, thiazinium, imidazolium, pyrazolium, thiazolium, isothiazolium, oxazolium, isoxazolium, or triazolium as well as an anion moiety selected from halogen anions.
