Abstract:
A method for preparing a 3D multi-dimensional multi-layer arc-surface laminated glass substrate. The glass substrate is a multi-layer laminated glass substrate having a multi-dimensional multi-curved-surface feature that is prepared by performing cutting, edge grinding, hot bending, tempering, and heating and gluing on a flat glass base. The preparation method comprises: using original sheets of an up-draw process flat glass, a Colburn process flat glass, and a float process flat glass having a thickness of 0.1-12 mm, there being two types of up-draw process flat glasses: grooved and un-grooved; and subjecting the original glass sheets to precise cutting into regular or specified dimensions by computer numerical control (CNC), precise curved edge grinding and polishing according to specified parameters in a CNC bilateral grinding machine, multi-dimensional arc-surface modeling and hot bending and air-cooled tempering in a reciprocating bending and tempering furnace, and multi-layer glass lamination and edge trimming in a CNC heating lamination machine. The prepared 3D multi-dimensional arc-surface multi-layer laminated glass has multi-dimensional arc surface and curved-surface special shape features, and the double-sided substrate glass is scratch resistant, impact resistant, and easy to clean, and is suitable for use with various products and processes that require a curved surface profile.
