Abstract:
A method for preparing a battery material by using a nickel-iron alloy, the method comprising: leaching a nickel-iron alloy, and filter pressing same to obtain a first filtrate and a first filter residue; adding an impurity removal agent into the first filtrate to remove impurities, and filtering to obtain a second filtrate and a second filter residue; adding hydrogen peroxide into the second filtrate for iron precipitation, and filter pressing same to obtain a first precipitate and a third filtrate, wherein the first precipitate is subjected to primary washing separation, aging, secondary washing separation and post-treatment to obtain battery-grade iron phosphate; adding ferrous sulfate + hydrogen peroxide or ferric sulfate into the third filtrate to adjust the pH and performing phosphorus precipitation, and filter pressing same to obtain a fourth filtrate and a second precipitate; evaporating and concentrating the fourth filtrate, then entering an iron removal process, and filter pressing same to obtain a fifth filtrate and iron removal slag, performing extraction and impurity removal on the fifth filtrate, and performing extraction and enrichment to obtain battery-grade nickel sulfate. The present invention provides a method for preparing a battery material by using a nickel-iron alloy, and the method has a short process flow, low device investments, low costs, environmentally friendly and mild processes, and high product purity.
