Abstract:

The present invention relates to the technical field of the preparation of magnesium alloy metal materials. In particular, provided is a method for preparing a biomedical magnesium alloy wire material. A magnesium, zinc and neodymium alloy is subjected to processes such as smelting, casting and rolling to prepare a plate; the plate is subjected to a special mechanical stirring process to prepare a processed region with the same thickness as the plate; and after a machining treatment, the processed region is used as a final product of a wire material, or is subjected to multi-pass drawing to finally form a wire material with a desired diameter. The present invention improves the forming performance of a wire material by introducing rolling and mechanical stirring processes, so that alloy grains are significantly refined, a second phase has a greatly reduced size and is mostly solid-dissolved in a matrix, the strength, especially the elongation, of the obtained wire material is greatly improved, and a relatively good corrosion resistance is obtained, thereby meeting the performance requirements of medical magnesium alloy wire materials.
