Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method of preparing a catalyst support for production of a high-purity vanadium electrolyte solution by using a catalyzed reaction. By adding a porous support to a mixture solution containing a catalyst, a polymer binder, and a solvent, followed by adsorption or coating, and then drying, the method may produce a catalyst support having a catalyst layer evenly coated and microchannels successfully formed thereon. The method enables an even catalyst layer to be immobilized on the support by using a simple method, and thus is advantageous for large-batch production; can increase the amount of the catalyst actually used, by minimizing agglomeration of catalyst particles; and is suitable for use in a catalyst reactor as the catalyst layer forms the microchannels.
