Abstract:

[PROBLEMS] In converting waste into a cement raw fuel, the waste is processed while minimizing an increase in cost even in the case where no free kiln is available. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] Waste is ground by a primary grinder (201) and then transported into a deposition type fermentor (202) in which the waste is deposited in a definite thickness. Then, the deposited matter is aerobically fermented as such. After the completion of the fermentation, the fermented matter is transported into a cement burner (100) and employed as a raw fuel for producing cement. In the fermentation, it is preferable to supply air from the bottom of the deposited matter. It is also preferable in the fermentation that air in a first volume is supplied to facilitate the aerobic fermentation of the deposited matter so as to ferment it to such an extent as not being composted but becoming usable as the raw fuel for producing cement, and then air is supplied in a second volume larger than the first volume to cool down the deposited matter, thereby regulating the fermentation.
