Abstract:
[Problem] To provide an industrially preferable and economical method for preparing a compound of formula (I), and also to provide a preparation method which can be safely implemented on an industrial scale. [Solution] This method for preparing a compound represented by formula (I) includes a step for heating a 2-deoxy-aldohexose aqueous solution at 100°C-150°C in a pressurized state without evaporating the 2-deoxy-aldohexose aqueous solution.
