Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method of preparing an egg yolk antibody for preventing premature death in shrimp, wherein the egg yolk antibody is prepared by first preparing a heterophile antibody by inoculating a non-chicken animal with an antigen of the causative bacteria of early mortality syndrome or white spot syndrome virus in shrimp, and then inoculating a laying hen with a complex comprising the antigen bound to the heterophile antibody. According to the present invention, the method for preparing an egg yolk antibody for preventing mortality in shrimp according to the present invention enables a high throughput preparation and production of the egg yolk antibody by injecting the antigen-heterophile antibody complex into laying hens, and the egg yolk antibody thus prepared, due to high specificity and affinity to the causative bacteria of early mortality syndrome and white spot syndrome virus in shrimp, effectively suppresses the growth of the above bacteria and virus, and thus can prevent premature death in shrimp caused by the causative bacteria of early mortality syndrome or the white spot syndrome virus in shrimp.
