Abstract:
The invention relates to a food supplement comprising a beverage produced by boiling orange peel, which is boiled until boiling point in two stages: a first stage of boiling the orange peel (five orange peels) in a pot for 15 minutes in 1 L water and discarding the boiled water; and a second stage of boiling the orange peel for 20 minutes in 1.5 L water or covering the orange peel to extract the active substance contained in the orange peel and which is dissolved in the boiled water remaining from the second step. The substance is kept in a glass in a refrigerator, and a teacup of the food supplement is drunk daily on an empty stomach.
