Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for preparing a graft copolymer powder and, more specifically, to a method for preparing a graft copolymer powder having excellent weather resistance, fluidity, mechanical properties, surface gloss, and appearance quality, the method comprising the steps of: preparing a seed by feeding and polymerizing at least one selected from the group consisting of an alkyl (meth)acrylate-based monomer, an aromatic vinyl-based monomer, and a vinyl cyan-based monomer; preparing a core by feeding and polymerizing an alkyl (meth)acrylate-based monomer in the presence of the seed; preparing a graft copolymer latex by feeding and polymerizing an aromatic vinyl-based monomer, and a vinyl cyan-based monomer in the presence of the core; and adding an alkyl methacrylate-based polymer to the graft copolymer latex, followed by coagulating.
