Abstract:

The present disclosure relates to a method for preparing a graft copolymer and a method for preparing a thermoplastic resin composition comprising the graft copolymer, and more specifically, to a method for preparing a graft copolymer and a method for preparing a thermoplastic resin composition comprising the graft copolymer, the method for preparing a graft copolymer comprising: inputting an aromatic vinyl monomer and a vinyl cyan monomer into conjugated diene rubber latex which has been enlarged by a polymer particle size control agent and has a specific glass transition temperature and a specific average particle size ratio with respect to the average particle size of conjugated diene rubber latex; and graft polymerizing same. According to the present disclosure, the graft copolymer prepared so as to comprise the conjugated diene rubber latex enlarged by the polymer particle size control agent has a synergistic effect whereby both impact strength and fluidity are improved.
