Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for preparing hydrated magnesium carbonate (HMC) and, more specifically, to a method for preparing HMC and magnesium oxide (MgO) in a solution in which calcium ions and magnesium ions coexist. According to the present invention, a high value of resources can be created since a high-purity HMC can be prepared in a solution in which calcium ions and magnesium ions coexist, and economic efficiency is improved in accordance with reduced processing since a high-purity HMC can be prepared and a high-purity magnesium oxide (MgO) can also be prepared by a comparatively simple process compared with the prior art.
