Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for preparing krill oil with low fluorine, a low acid value, a low peroxide value, and high astazanthin, and to krill oil prepared thereby. The method for preparing krill oil according to the present invention efficiently decreases the acid value, the peroxide value, and the fluoride content, and increases the astazanthin content in the krill oil, thereby making the krill oil prepared by the present invention edible, so that the krill oil may be used as an auxiliary additive for various food materials or various dishes, and thus can be provided as a useful product for improving the taste or flavor of food and increasing the nutritious value of food.
