Abstract:
The present invention provides a method for preparing ladder-type polysilsesquioxane of which molecular weight is selectively controllable, the method comprising the steps of: (a) preparing a brine solution in which H2O for the hydrolysis of silane is mixed with a solvent; (b) adding, to the mixed solution prepared in step (a), a weakly basic substance as a catalyst for causing the polymerization reaction of silane; and (c) adding, to the mixed solution synthesized in step (b), [3-(methacryloyloxy)propyl]trimethoxysilane silane, which is a precursor of polysilsesquioxane.
