Abstract:
The present invention belongs to the field of lithium-ion battery electrolyte additive synthesis, and specifically relates to a method for preparing lithium bisoxalate borate. The method comprises: (1) providing a mixture comprising an oxalic acid compound, an alkaline lithium salt, and a boron-containing compound; and (2) reacting the mixture at a temperature of 50-200°C to form a product containing lithium bisoxalate borate. In step (2), moisture is removed from the reacted mixture. The method of the present invention can ensure that there is substantially no side reactions and increase yield, reduces or eliminates the phenomenon of agglomeration and wrapping of the product, thereby improving the purity of the product; and can greatly reduce the residual metal ions in the product.
