Abstract:
Provided are a method for preparing lithium iron phosphate through wet process
and lithium iron phosphate prepared by the same, the steps thereof are as follows:
each water-soluble compound containing lithium, iron, phosphorus or doping
element M as required is dissolved into water respectively; then are cocurrently
placed into a reaction vessel under stirring to give suspension, wherein Li,
Fe and P satisfy the formula [mLi+n(1-m)/n M]:pFe:qPO4=1:1:1, in
this formula, n is valence of doping element, m is mole number of Li, (1-m)/n is
mole number of doping element, p and q are mole numbers of Fe and PO4 respectively;
a reductive conductive agent is added; the suspension is spray-dried; the spray-dried
product is baked and pulverized. The method is a simple process and can operate
successively; mixing of liquid starting materials can make Li+, Fe2+,
PO4
3- and Mn+ mix uniformly at ion lever; the product
is uniform in terms of performance and its grains are nanoscale, the particle
size of its aggregate is below 10 μm. Lithium ion cells assembled by using
the prepared lithium iron phosphate have higher capacity, superior high rate
discharge capability and cycling performance.
