Abstract:

Provided is a method for preparing a low-molecular lignin derivative, comprising the steps of: preparing lignin obtained by hydrolyzing lignocellulosic biomass with acid; preparing a first mixture by mixing 100 parts by weight of the lignin and 500 parts or more by weight of a phenol-based compound; preparing a second mixture by mixing the first mixture with a solvent containing the hydrophobic polar solvent; and collecting a low-molecular lignin derivative from the second mixture.
