Abstract:
Provided is a method for preparing a modified superparamagnetic ferric oxide. The method comprises the following steps: (1) mixing a modifier, a ferrous salt, and a ferric salt in water; (2) adding an alkaline substance to adjust a pH value to 9 to 13; (3) performing a reaction with induction heating; and (4) adding air or oxygen to continue with the reaction. In the method, induction heating is used in place of external source heating like a common oil bath or water bath, a reaction time is obviously shortened, and both a utilization extent and a yield of a raw material are increased. A prepared modified superparamagnetic ferric oxide has a small polydispersity coefficient, evenly distributed particle sizes, and high stability.
