Abstract:
Disclosed is a method of preparing a multifunctional composite water purification material. The preparation method comprises 1) grinding natural zeolite powder with Na2O2 powder; 2) sequentially adding a Ti(OH)4 liquid suspension and a Ca(OH)2 liquid suspension to the mixture of step 1) and grinding continuously; 3) adding an Al(OH)3 liquid suspension to the mixture in step 2) and grinding continuously; 4) heating and refluxing the slurry obtained in step 3) to obtain a preliminary material; and 5) drying the preliminary material obtained in step 4) at 70-80°C to obtain the final composite water purification material. The method has a simple process and mild reaction conditions, and is suitable for large-scale industrial production. The prepared composite water purification material has multifunctional characteristics, is environmentally-friendly, and does not cause secondary pollution.
