Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for preparing nanoparticles containing a drug, comprising the following steps of: 1) preparing an oil phase solution containing a drug and poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid) (PLGA); 2) preparing a water phase solution containing lecithin, 1,2-distearoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphoethanolamine-polyethylene glycol (DSPE-PEG) and DSPE-PEG to which a cancer cell targeting material is attached; and 3) mixing the oil phase solution prepared in step 1) and the water phase solution prepared in step 2) so as to obtain nanoparticles. The method for preparing nanoparticles, according to the present invention mixes, in an optimized ratio, DSPE-PEG with DSPE-PEG to which a cancer cell targeting material is attached, so as to enable the preparation of nanoparticles containing a drug that exhibits excellent anti-cancer activity against cancer cells while being less toxic to normal cells, thereby being effectively usable as a pharmaceutical composition for treating or preventing cancer.
