Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for preparing an oil absorbent using a reusable polyurethane sponge having excellent oil absorption and removal properties, and more specifically, to a method for preparing an oil absorbent comprising the steps of: (a) preparing a first mixture by stirring a solvent and graphite particles; (b) modifying a polyurethane sponge by immersing the polyurethane sponge in the first mixture and then drying the polyurethane sponge; (c) preparing a second mixture by stirring a solvent and polydimethylsiloxane; and (d) preparing a polyurethane sponge coated with graphite and polydimethylsiloxane by immersing the modified polyurethane sponge in the second mixture and then drying same.
