Abstract:
Provided is a preparation method of a pearlescent pigment coating material, the method comprising: dissolving titanium iron ions in ilmenite by using hydrochloric acid under a certain temperature and pressure; adding hydrogen chloride gas to precipitate ferrous chloride in the acidolysis solution; conducting co-extraction on the residual ferrotitanium ions by using an extraction agent after oxidation to enable the ferrotitanium ions to separate from other colored ions; and employing a fractional extraction and enrichment method to obtain an enriched titanium acyl chloride solution and ferrous hydrous oxide, the titanium acyl chloride solution being usable as a pearlescent pigment coating material for a titanium-mica series and in the preparation of titanium dioxide, and the acidized hydrous oxide of iron and the oxidized ferrous chloride being usable as a pearlescent pigment coating material of an iron series or in the preparation of an iron oxide pigment.
