Abstract:

The present invention relates to a method for preparing a polarizing plate and a polarizing plate prepared by using same. A method for preparing a polarizer comprises the steps of: preparing a polarizing plate, on which a protective film is laminated, on one side of a polyvinyl alcohol-based polarizer dyed with iodine or dichroic dye; and having a bleaching solution, comprising 1-30 wt % of a bleaching agent, locally come in contact with the other side of the polarizer such that a depolarization region having group transmission of 80% or higher in a wavelength of 400 nm to 800 nm is formed.
