Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for preparing a polymer, and provides a method for preparing a polymer, the method comprising the steps of: feeding a monomer stream and a solvent stream into a reactor to perform a polymerization reaction, thereby preparing a reaction product; feeding a discharge stream of the reactor into a separation apparatus, separating a gas stream containing an inert gas in the separation apparatus, and feeding, into a volatilization apparatus, a liquid stream containing the reaction product with the inert gas removed therefrom; separating a polymer from a bottom discharge stream of the volatilization apparatus and feeding an overhead discharge stream containing unreacted monomers, a solvent, and an inert gas into a condensation unit; and condensing and separating the unreacted monomers and solvent in the condensation unit and feeding the gas stream into a vacuum unit.
