Abstract:
The present invention essentially relates to a method for preparing rapidly-curing cellular building mixtures which include a gypsum-containing mineral binder. The mineral binder is continuously fed at a given inclination into a mixing area, wherein activating cavitation pulses are applied onto the mineral binder in said mixing area. The cavitation force pulses are generated as the binder encounters a flow of a 0.1-7.5 % aqueous solution of an air-entraining additive as well as an air flow. The flows have their axes inclined at an angle of between 15 and 75 degrees and are supplied under a pressure of between 0.5 and 6.5 atm. The mineral binder moves on a horizontal plane in the mixing area at a speed of between 14.5 and 47.5 m/sec. The axis of the flow of solution containing the air-entraining additive and the axis of the air flow are further offset by 45 to 270 degrees relative to each other. The cellular mixture thus obtained is further homogenised by applying radial reciprocating movements in spiral along each horizontal bracket of a vertical driving shaft and using fingers which are connected to said shaft so as to form a helical line.
