Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for preparing red algal microfibrillated cellulose (MFC), and a use thereof, and the red algal MFC prepared by the preparation method of the present invention has an excellent inhibitory effect on cyclooxygenase-2 (Cox-2) activity, an excellent inhibitory effect on MAPKs phosphorylation and an excellent inhibitory effect on TNF-α expression, and thus suppresses skin damage and inflammation caused by ultraviolet rays.
