Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for preparing self-emulsifiable, dual-component epoxy resin, comprising: step 1: epoxy resin and a chain extender are added in a reactor and a reaction is performed for 4 hours to 5 hours; and heating is stopped when an epoxy equivalent is reduced to 40% to 60% of an initial value; step 2: the temperature of the resultant obtained in step 1 is reduced to 90°C to 150°C, a solvent is added, and the temperature is kept; step 3: an acrylic monomer and/or an acrylate monomer is mixed with an initiator, and the obtained mixture is sealed and placed at room temperature for subsequent use; step 4: 100 to 300 parts of weight of the mixture obtained in step 3 are evenly added in the reactor; and step 5: the solid parts in the resultant obtained in step 4 are adjusted to 30 wt.% to 70 wt.% to obtain self-emulsifiable, dual-component epoxy resin. During the storage of the epoxy resin in the method of the present invention, a case of hydrolysis of an ester bond does not occur, and the resin has high storage performance. In addition, the method of the present invention does not need a neutralizing agent having a strong smell, which helps to improve an operation environment.
