Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for preparing a vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate copolymer latex. Specifically, an embodiment of the present invention provides a method for obtaining a latex comprising vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate copolymer particles having a high degree of polymerization, a large molecular weight, and a uniform particle composition, by emulsion polymerization of a vinyl chloride monomer and a vinyl acetate monomer in the presence of an aqueous dispersion medium and an emulsifier, and optimization of the method of supply of the vinyl chloride monomer and the emulsifier.
