Abstract:
Disclosed are a method for presenting media information, a client, a plugin, and a system. The method comprises: sending, when a page is loaded, media information obtaining request to a plugin installed in a client, to enable the plugin to obtain brief information of media information from a server according to the media information obtaining request; receiving a notification message carrying the brief information from the plugin, and presenting the brief information at a first presentation position on the page according to the notification message; in response to an operation performed by a user on the brief information, sending a media file presenting request to the plugin, to enable the plugin to obtain a media file of the media information from the server according to the media file presenting request; and receiving the media file from the plugin, generating a second presentation position on the page on the basis of the first presentation position, and presenting the media file at the second presentation position.
