Abstract:

A card type magnetic recording device (1), wherein a motor (10) to drive a magnetic disk stored in it is installed in a recessed part (9) formed in a frame plate (8), a rearward extrusion is used to form the recessed part (9) in the frame plate (8) using a die (35) having an inclined surface (39) and a punch (37) having an inclined surface (40), the part sandwiched between the inclined surfaces (39) and (40) is crushed by the die (35) and the punch (37) vertically moved relatively to each other and extends not only forward but also rearward in the moving direction of the punch.
