Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a corrosion prevention method which is effective for an iron-based member and a copper-based member in a closed cooling water system.
Provided is a method for preventing corrosion in a closed cooling water system equipped with an iron-based member and a copper-based member, said method comprising adding (a) at least one component selected from the group consisting of erythorbic acid, ascorbic acid and salts thereof and (b) an alkali metal carbonate salt and/or an alkali metal hydrogen carbonate salt to the closed cooling water system.
