Abstract:
Disclosed are a method for preventing ravel of a knitting yarn with an adequate ravel prevention effect through simple steps and a knitted fabric to which the method is applied. As the process of preventing ravel of a knitting yarn, the following steps are implemented. A step of moving a yarn feeding port in the direction of movement, feeding a knitting yarn to a knitting needle while moving the yarn feeding port in the opposite direction (backward) to the direction of movement, and forming a first hook point (1) and a second hook point (2). A step of transferring either the first hook point (1), the second hook point (2), and/or any one of two close loops (3, 4) which has been hooked close to each other on either the front needle bed or the back needle bed since the formation of the hook points (1, 2), thereby placing the first hook point (1) on the close loop (3), and placing the second hook point (2) under the close loop (4). A step of moving the yarn feeding port after the placement of the close loops (3, 4) on/under the hook points (1, 2) and taking out the yarn (or inserting the yarn).
