Abstract:
[PROBLEM] To provide a simple method for preventing the scrap rising of scraps which makes it possible to prevent the scrap rising of scraps 120 formed around a product, said scraps including outer peripheral sections of a steel sheet. [SOLUTION] This method for preventing the scrap rising of scraps prevents the scrap rising of the scraps 120 which result when a product 110 is blanked from a steel sheet 10 using a die 20 and a punch 10. The die 20 comprises recesses 21 which form, on the outer peripheral edge part 121 of the scraps 120, projections 122 which project toward the product. The punch 10 comprises protrusions 11 which, together with the recesses, form the projections 122 on the scraps 120. The projections 122 of the scraps 120, formed on the outer peripheral edge part 121 of the scraps toward the product by the protrusions 11 and the recesses 21, are fit within the recesses 21 in the die 20 by the protrusions 11 of the punch.
