Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for printing materials to be printed (16, 17), comprising a printing press equipped with a feeder for separating and feeding the materials to be printed into a printing unit, comprising 1) the step of providing materials to be printed which are arranged in a register-accurate manner on a stack carrier (1) and have a first intermediate layer (2) arranged on the stack carrier, a first stack of material to be printed (3) which is arranged on the first intermediate layer, a second intermediate layer (4) arranged on the first stack of material to be printed, a second stack of material to be printed arranged on the second intermediate layer and, optionally, further intermediate layers and stacks of material to be printed; 2) the step of separating, gripping and transferring individual materials to be printed of the uppermost stack of material to be printed to the printing unit until a predetermined number of few materials to be printed, which still remain in the stack of material to be printed, is reached; 3) the step of manually or automatically withdrawing and removing the intermediate layer present below the uppermost stack of material to be printed while maintaining the register-accurate arrangement of the stacked materials to be printed; 4) the step of separating, gripping and transferring individual materials to be printed of the stack of material to be printed to the printing unit until a predetermined number of few materials to be printed, which still remain in the stack of material to be printed, is reached; 5) optionally repeating steps 3) and 4), in particular until no or a predetermined number of few materials to be printed, which still remain in the first stack of material to be printed, is reached.
