Abstract:
Provided is a method that is for printing a metal-tone printed matter and that is capable of highly precise and shiny printing without the metal color of the printed mater printed with metallic ink dulling. In a printing step, a metallic ink wherein aluminum particles have been dispersed in a solvent is printed onto a transfer material (1) having a flat printing surface, forming a metallic ink layer (2) containing a metal layer (2a) wherein the aluminum particles have been deposited on the printing surface side, and then the transfer material (1) is inverted, transferring the flat metal layer (2a) side as a display surface to the material (4) to which to transfer.
