Abstract:
Disclosed in the embodiments of the present application is a method for processing cascaded optical network terminals (ONTs). The method for processing cascaded ONTs comprises: a master ONT receiving an uplink service data message from a slave ONT, wherein the uplink service data message includes a user terminal identifier and a transmission path identifier of a user terminal accessing the slave ONT; the master ONT establishing a transmission path correspondence table; and after receiving a downlink service data message from an OLT and after matching a corresponding transmission path identifier from the transmission path correspondence table, the master ONT adding the transmission path identifier to the downlink service data message, and then sending the downlink service data message to the slave ONT, so as to instruct the slave ONT to send the downlink service data message from a transmission path which corresponds to the transmission path identifier. Further disclosed in the embodiments of the present application are an ONT apparatus and a cascaded ONT system. By means of the solution disclosed in the embodiments of the present application, a network architecture can be simplified, thereby improving the forwarding efficiency of service data on cascaded ONTs.
