Abstract:
The invention relates to the by-product-coking industry. In order to improve the quality of produced coke a hydrocarbon additive is sprayed under pressure onto two sides of a surface of coal particles on three levels, e.g. upper, middle and lower levels by means of three to four flows on each level. Said levels for supplying the additive are arranged at a specified distance from the opening of a coal colliery. The additive is sprayed on all levels of the coal charge flow at the specified distance from the flow boundary and the central axis thereof. The specified amount of additive is spayed on each level.
