Abstract:
A method of processing the drilling mud consists in introducing into it, as a stabilizing reagent, an aqueous solution of carboxymethylcellulose or of a condensed sulpho-alcohol slurry, preliminarily activated in the zone of one of the electrodes of a diaphragm electrolyzer, the introduction time of the said stabilizing reagent into the drilling mud being equal to or lesser than the time of its electrochemical relaxation slow stage.
