Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for processing a plastic, which comprises a step for dissolving
a plastic in a solvent, a step for hydrocracking the thus-obtained plastic solution,
a step for fractionating the product obtained in the hydrocracking step, and
a step for returning at least a part of the heavy distillate obtained in the fractionating
step to the hydrocracking step. By this method, useful components can be recovered
from a waste plastic, while processing the residual component by a simple process.
