Abstract:
A method for processing an I/O request, executed by an agent module of a host. The agent module sends the disk identifier of a disk to be migrated to a second storage array corresponding to an array identifier, so that the second storage array constructs a mirror disk of said disk according to the disk identifier of the disk to be migrated. After the mirror disk is constructed, the agent module sets virtual path information for the path reporting the disk identifier of the mirror disk, and reports the virtual path information to a multipath module. The agent module receives a disk identifier query request sent by the multipath module by means of a virtual path, and sends the disk identifier of the disk to be migrated to the multipath module, so that the multipath module uses a virtual path as the path of the disk to be migrated for priority access path management and configures the virtual path as a priority access path of the disk to be migrated.
