Disclosed are a method for processing service data, and a network device, belonging to the technical field of virtualization. The method comprises: when a first processing process is started, invoking a Virtio interface so as to establish a communication connection with a Vhost interface deployed on a virtual switch; the first processing process applying for a target storage space and dividing the target storage space into a plurality of storage sub-spaces; and when a second processing process is started, determining a target storage sub-space in the plurality of storage sub-spaces and processing service data based on the target storage sub-space. By means of the present invention, processing resources of a network device can be saved on, and the efficiency of processing service data can be guaranteed.
