Abstract:
A method for producing at least one compound selected from the group consisting of 1,1,2-trifluoroethylene, hexafluoro-1,3-butadiene, and 1,2-dichlorohexafluorocyclobutane, the method including a step in which 1,1,2-trifluoro-2-chloroethylene is reacted with an alkali metal having a valence of 0. By this method, at least one compound selected from the group consisting of 1,1,2-trifluoroethylene, hexafluoro-1,3-butadiene, and 1,2-dichlorohexafluorocyclobutane can be obtained under mild conditions with high selectivity.
