Abstract:
The invention relates to chemical engineering and can be used for producing 1,2-dichloroethane by means of direct chlorination of ethylene in liquid dichloroethane. The aim of said invention is to increase the ratio of ethylene and the selectivity of the chlorine and ethylene reaction. The inventive method is carried out with the aid of a reactor which comprises a body (1) and a central reaction tube (2). Gas lifting circulation of a liquid dichloroethane flow is carried out in a vertical circulating circuit which has an estimated flow Q excluding ebullition of the dichloroethane in the reaction zone (5). The gaseous chlorine and ethylene are introduced into the reactor through distribution jets (4) and (6) arranged in the tube (2). The gaseous chlorine and ethylene are pre-dispersed in the liquid dichloroethane and introduced with the aid of nosepieces (11) and (12) ejectors. The liquid dichloroethane is introduced into an inlet chamber of each ejector having a flow rate Q¿1? which is equal to 0.01-0.2 of the estimated flow Q of the liquid circulating dichloroethane.
