Abstract:
Provided is a method for producing 1,3-butadiene, the method enabling absorber solvents to be efficiently purified while ensuing high production efficiency. The method for producing 1,3-butadiene is characterized by comprising step (A) in which a raw-material gas including n-butene is subjected to an oxidative dehydrogenation reaction with a molecular-oxygen-containing gas to thereby obtain a product gas including 1,3-butadiene, step (B) in which the product gas is cooled, step (C) in which the product gas that has undergone step (B) is separated by selective absorption into an absorber solvent, step (D1) in which the absorber solvent obtained in step (C), into which absorbable components comprising other gases including 1,3-butadiene have been absorbed, is separated into an absorber solvent containing substantially no absorbable components and an absorber solvent containing the absorbable components, step (D2) in which the absorber solvent containing the absorbable components is separated into liquid 1,3-butadiene and an absorber solvent containing a by-product of the reaction, and step (E) in which the absorber solvent obtained in step (D2), which contains the by-product of the reaction, is purified.
