Abstract:
A method for producing 2,2,4-trimethyl-1,2-dihydroquinoline polymer-containing compositions, wherein the content of primary amine with respect to the total weight of the composition is 1 mass% or less, the method comprising a process of bringing a mixture containing 2,2,4-trimethyl-1,2-dihydroquinoline and a polymer thereof and, with respect to 100 parts by mass of the total of same, 2-6 parts by mass of a primary amine, into contact with 3-10 moles of a dicarboxylic acid with respect to 1 mole of the primary amine.
