Abstract:
A method for producing acrylic acid from lactic acid by a gas-phase reaction characterized by including (a) a step for feeding lactic acid aqueous solution to a vaporizer, heating at a temperature of 320°C or lower, and obtaining vaporized lactic acid and (b) a step for feeding raw material gas containing the above vaporized lactic acid to a reactor, reacting at a temperature higher than the temperature of the above vaporizer, and obtaining acrylic acid.
