Abstract:
Provided is a method that is for producing an acrylic rubber/fluoro-rubber composition and that can form a layer having superior inter-layer adhesion to a layer resulting from cross-linking a fluoro-rubber. In the method for producing an acrylic rubber/fluoro-rubber composition: a fluoro-rubber (A), an acrylic rubber crosslinking agent, and an acrylic rubber crosslinking auxiliary agent are mixed/kneaded, obtaining a fluoro-rubber composition containing the acrylic rubber crosslinking agent and the acrylic rubber crosslinking auxiliary agent; and the obtained fluoro-rubber composition and an acrylic rubber (B) are mixed/kneaded while being heated with a mass ratio of fluoro-rubber (A)/acrylic rubber (B) = 5/95 to 50/50, causing the acrylic rubber (B) to cross-link, and causing cross-linked acrylic rubber (B) particles to be dispersed in a continuous phase of fluororubber (A).
