Abstract:
The present invention relates to the technical field of single cell protein (SCP) processing. Provided is a method for producing an aerobic SCP by using an autolysis process, the method comprising the steps of precipitation and concentration, centrifugal dewatering, autolysis, drying, sterilization, crushing and packaging. By performing an autolysis process on a material having undergone a centrifugal dewatering, an autolytic enzyme can decompose macromolecular nutrients and a cell wall to generate free amino acids and nucleotides, thus enabling an active substance to flow out of the cell, and reducing moisture required to be removed in the drying step.
