Abstract:

Disclosed is a method for producing an aligned carbon nanotube aggregate, which involves: a step for disposing a catalyst supporting film by coating, on a substrate, a catalyst supporting film coating agent which is created by dissolving, in an organic solvent, a metal salt and/or a metal organic compound containing aluminum and a stabilizer for inhibiting the condensation polymerization reaction of the metal salt and/or the metal organic compound; a step for disposing a catalyst generating film by coating, on the catalyst supporting film, a catalyst generating film coating agent which is created by dissolving, in an organic solvent, a metal salt and/or a metal organic compound containing iron and a stabilizer for inhibiting the condensation polymerization reaction of the metal salt and/or the metal organic compound; and a step for growing an aligned CNT aggregate on the substrate by means of the CVD method.
